AFRIT LENDS A HELPING HAND IN TIME OF NEED

Since April 2017, the Gift of The Givers Foundation under the leadership of Dr. Imtiaz Sooliman, has invested more than R200 million in assisting farmers during periods of extreme drought – specifically in the Northern Cape, Eastern Cape and Western Cape regions, where government assistance with sufficient funds to curb losses has been limited.

Afrit has sponsored a trailer until 2022 which will transport humanitarian relief packages including food, water, blankets, mielies as well as feed for animals. Afrit hopes to make a difference to relieve the strain in these drought-stricken provinces.
